“TIME ALONE!”
We have been looking at the stories of Jesus as they are presented to us, namely from the Gospel of Mark, during the summer season. Mark 6:34 is a telling verse: “….without a parable He did not speak to them. And when they were alone, He explained all things to His disciples.”

“The Right King in the Right Place”
There is an interesting story in the book of I Kings, chapter one, which I will attempt to summarize.
King David is advanced in years and it is time for a passing of the baton from one King to another. As we can imagine, the “peaceful transition of power” did not happen often throughout the pages of the Old Testament.
